Wedding Day Recap - Bridesmaids

For the past week or so I've been pretty absent from the blog-world, and I'm still not quite ready to jump back in with both feet yet. So I'm going to use one of my wedding recap posts to just wade back into the water this morning :) So these are the pictures of my bridesmaids and I, and I love them all soooo much. The girls and the pictures, that is!

If you want to see the other wedding recaps I've done so far, check out getting ready and the first look.

L to R: Bridget, duh that's me, Megan (Matron of Honor) & Jenni
This was us telling Meg to hurry up and get over here...
Oh and look, now she's arrived!
I loved letting them each pick out their own dresses, and I think they all ended up looking great together. They all did a great job of finding the perfect color too, and I loved each of their dresses. And since they each had a unique dress, all of their bouquets were unique too, and I think those looked great as well. Our flowers were done by At Last Florals, and I would highly recommend them if you're in the area! Especially if you're doing it at the beach or at Wakulla Springs like we did, because she's actually located in Sopchoppy.

Maybe this quick little post will help wet my appetite for blogging again, and I can jump back into it tomorrow like usual! Happy Tuesday folks :)

Wedding Day Recap - Getting Ready

Howdy ladies! Today is is another wedding recap, and this finally begins the actual wedding day recaps! These photos are just a few of us girls getting ready before the ceremony, after we had finished up the final decorations that morning. The venue wouldn't let us put anything up before 8am that day, so we had to do it all that morning! (I'll do decor photos in a whole other post later, so we'll skip those for now...)

All ready to go with my bridesmaids! I'm cleverly hidden so that it could be posted to Facebook pre-wedding ;)

So there's the first recap post from our actual wedding day! I've got what seems like a million more lined up for the coming weeks. I think I might go crazy if I only post one a week, so I'll probably end up posting two a week until we finally make it to the honeymoon recaps! And hopefully y'all don't get crazy bored of all the wedding recap posts, because there will seriously be like so many more...

Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner

So I've taken a small break from blogging this week, which was kind of an accident, but I'm back at it again, and today I'm sharing another wedding update. The night before the wedding, our whole wedding party and family made the short 30-minute drive from town down to Wakulla Springs, to check out the place, find our spots for the ceremony, and do the usual quick walk-through for the next day. We also brought all the decorations and unloaded them there for the night.

After about an hour, we were all finished at Wakulla Springs and so we headed back to Tally for the rehearsal dinner! Jeff's mom (and some helper-friends of hers) set it all up in the fellowship hall at their church, and did a good job decorating everything in turquoise and purple. They even got some youth from the church to act as waiters, so it was really nice :)

Our last picture before becoming man and wife!
Jenni and Jeff's Granny became best friends, and they instantly loved each other :)
Love this pretty sister of mine!

After a yummy meal and dessert and coffee, the girls and I headed back to our house for my final night as a single lady! We had a few more things to finish up and take care of, but we made sure not to stay up too late. I needed plenty of beauty rest, and we had an early day coming the next morning! And now that means the next wedding update, will finally be of the actual wedding! About time, right? Only six and a half months later, but who's counting?! Happy Wednesday ladies!

Beautiful Bridesmaids Luncheon

Hello lovely blogger ladies and friends, today is another wedding recap. But I'm getting really excited about these, because now we're finally into the actual week of the wedding! After today I'll do the rehearsal dinner, and then I'll finally get to share more wedding photos!! So let's get to the beautiful bridesmaids luncheon, shall we...?

Friday, October 4, my Aunt Suzanne  hosted an extremely beautiful bridesmaids luncheon. (She also did Megan's back in May, and both of them were just perfect!) She is such a great hostess, and always makes sure everything looks amazing and tastes delicious. And my bridesmaids luncheon was of course no exception to that! We started with punch and appetizers in the back yard, then for lunch we had poppy seed chicken, bacon wrapped green bean bundles, squash casserole and a few other yummies.

Delicious food my aunt made

My little sister and best friend, Megan, was my Matron of Honor; I met Bridget at Flagler and we became fast friends, then we were roommates our senior year '09-'10; I also met Jenni at Flagler, and roomed together for a quick summer in 2009. These three girls all mean so much to me, and I am truly blessed and grateful that each one of them were a part of our special wedding day. I love all of these ladies so much, and couldn't have asked for better bridesmaids!

Megan (sister), Bridget, BRIDE :) & Jenni
My super sweet Aunt Suzanne, who hosted my beautiful bridesmaids luncheon!
Their goody bags I had made for them (on Etsy), full of a few goodies for each of them :)
Me, my Grandmommie, and my Mama
Megan (sister and MOH), me and our Mama
It was a beautiful and lovely luncheon, and I'm so thankful for a great aunt who was sweet enough to host this for not only my sister a few months ago, but for me now as well! I am a blessed girl and a blessed bride. Looking forward to sharing a few more recaps of our wedding in the next few weeks!

Oh and P.S. - some of the pictures up there are blurry, and I have no idea why...but let's just pretend they're perfectly clear, mmkay? Thanks :)
