We took a quick trip to Jacksonville, and my super awesome boyfriend made this super sweet video. Then he edited HTML code for me to upload it to Blogger. He's the bestest :)
P.S. - A picture post will come in a day or so once I get it all put together!

Potter, Princess Bride & Pirates Top the List
I have previously tried to do "List Posts," but couldn't do it very consistently...so I'm not going to try anymore. I'm just going to post them randomly whenever I think about it, or feel like making a little doodle. The doodles are definitely not my strong suit, but I'm trying, and I'm not that worried about it, and it's fun anyways, so who cares! Not this girl.
So for the return of my List Posts, here's a list of my 10 favorite movies. It's hard to even narrow it down to 10, but I did my best...and these are not actually in order - because that is near impossible, as it changes frequently.
How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days
Amelie
Fast and the Furious series
The Little Mermaid
Pirates of the Caribbean series
Grease
Harry Potter series
The Holiday
Fried Green Tomatoes
The Princess Bride

Planning To...
Currently: Looking forward to lunch at Panera with my friend Sara
Drinking: water from my FSU tumbler my sister gave me - but it's almost gone now, so I need to take a trip down to the water fountain again soon.
Taking A Break From: answering an endless amount of emails about inmates and prisons
Working On: Summer activities for my youth group - this is my favorite thing to plan for the youth! :)
Meaning To: Fold the pile of clean laundry I shoved into the corner of my bed last weekend...
Eating: Nothing right now. Had a Costco banana about an hour ago though...yum!
Wanting to Eat: You-Pick-2-Combo from Panera: half a turkey sandwich and half an Asian Sesame salad! This is my favorite from there. I get the same thing pretty much every single time.
Reading: "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein
Wondering: how to make those little collages on Instagram?! So cute, but I can't figure it all out for some reason...Someone help me, please?
Listening To: "Safe & Sound" by Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars. Over and over and over on repeat. And also the cover of the same song by Kina Grannis. Over and over and over on repeat.
Planning To: Head out to Havana for dinner tonight at my Grandparent's house, while the rest of my family is out of town!
Hoping That: Zumba is not as hard today as it was on Tuesday! She wore me out earlier this week. Big time. I know it's good for me and I felt good afterwards, but during it I felt like I might die of heat exhaustion. At least a warm room means that it's almost summer time! (Usually the room feels like whatever the weather outside is like...)

Pears & Popcorn
Sometimes the most simple date nights are the ones that make me the happiest. They are so easy and casual and we laugh and have a good time. These are the nights that show me that relationships don't have to be hard work - it's just about living through simple things together, finding how to make it fun, and loving each other through everything.
Last night was one of those nights. All we did was go to Costco and watch a movie at his house, but it made me happy. We bought tons of fruit and vegetables for us to have as snacks for our healthy-eating push.
(Side note: you can get some great stuff, at good prices, and obviously an enormous quantity at Costco! Together we bought: pears, cucumbers, kiwi, tangerines, strawberries, bananas and a huge box of 100-calorie packs of popcorn - total cost for all of that was probably around $50, but it will last us for at least 3-4 weeks.)
Wedrooled over checked out fancy cameras, played around with some awesome Tommy Bahama beach chairs (it's a fold-up backpack chair with a little cooler on the back...we will definitely be buying 2 in April...), stayed in the giant walk-in cooler a little bit too long, investigated a kayak, and found some Lego Star Wars underwear for his twin boys.
After we finished shopping, we got a chocolate-&-vanilla swirly frozen yogurt and shared it together at a cute little Costco picnic table, complete with umbrella. We went back to his house and watched a movie. I fell asleep for about 10 minutes, so he woke me up so I could go home to bed.
Such a simple night. but it made me so happy. We had fun, laughed and joked together, and even had a chance to catch up on some serious stuff too. These nights are so easy, but they're also the best!

| He's such a cute boy :) |
P.S. - I just ate a pear for my morning snack, and it was so very yummy. It reminded me of when I was little, because I used to eat them at my Grandparent's house ALL the time. So juice and sweet, and a tiny bit crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. Delish. I would definitely recommend Costco fruit. :)

Power Walking at Work
In an effort to make myself more active and just get a tiny bit more exercise into my daily routine - today I started Power Walking at Work.
I brought in my old tennis shoes to work, and I will permanently leave them under my desk every day. Working at the state, we get two 15-minute breaks a day - and I plan to walk every day during those breaks. I will lace up my tennie-pumps (as my Mom, Sister and I say...) with my nice work dresses, and power walk my booty off around this place. While it's still a little bit chilly outside, I will be inside for the morning break, and go outside for my afternoon break, when the weather permits!
Just now, I walked straight up 5 flights of stairs, as quickly as I could manage. Then on my way back down, I came down one flight at a time, and walked the whole floor before going down another flight on the other end of the hall. This afternoon, I will circle the building a couple of times, which will be good because our whole block sits on a giant hill, so that will provide a bit more of a work out rather than just flat ground.
Hopefully this new routine of power walking will do a couple of things for me...
1. I hope it helps motivate me towards leading a more active and healthy lifestyle again all around
2. Obviously I hope it will help jump start me back into losing weight again!
It's not a lot - but I figure that pairing this new, daily walking routine with Zumba twice a week and cycling whenever I can, I will be on my way to losing that 20 pounds, for the second time...
And this afternoon, I plan on using my RunKeeper app (link takes you to my public profile) on my iPhone to keep track of my walking from here on out. It's a pretty awesome app, and can do a lot of things like: distance, average speed, max speed, calories burned, total elevation, map of where you were, etc... and then it sends all this data online so that it's easier to track. It's the same app Jeff and I use when we cycle, and we love it. You can set each activity (biking, walking, running, etc.) so it knows more accurately how to track you during your work out.
(AFTERNOON EDIT: this new link will take you straight to the "Activity" from this afternoon on my RunKeeper profile. I walked exactly one mile all around downtown and the 3 floors of my parking garage before coming back to my desk.)

Pleased as Punch
I was seriously blessed with some awesome friends while at Flagler. The group of guys and girls that I was a part of was truly amazing, and I am so thankful that God put each and every one of them in my life. I have formed life-long friendships with some wonderful girls, and I love them all so much!
Love to you all! Can't wait to see the 5 of you for girls' weekend!
P.S. - we're open to including more if you're interested... :)
Since it's been a while since we've seen each other, some of us are planning a quick & simple weekend get-a-way at the ever so quaint, in-the-middle-of-basically-nowhere little Inn in Steinhatchee, Fl - Steinhatchee River Inn. We will buy some groceries and bring an extra air mattress, and things will be glorious.
I literally can only barely contain my excitement at work as we've been texting and messaging and confirming dates and places and prices all morning. At one point, I was literally smiling super huge and bouncing in my chair like a crazy woman. If anyone would have walked past my cubby - it could have been super embarrassing.
Our fabulous weekend is not until the very last weekend of this month - so it's still very far away. For the next 28 days I will have something awesome to look forward to though. I CAN'T WAIT! It's going to be the jam. For real. I am Pleased as Punch that this is all coming together, and actually going to work out for everyone!

Product Trial
Lately, I've been noticing (through pictures and things) that my teeth aren't quite as white as I thought they were. Maybe they went through a phase where I was actually using really awesome toothpaste and so they shone a little brighter before. But no longer. So, after seeing a pretty convincing TV commercial - I shelled out twice as much money for some fancy toothpaste.
Usually I buy some pretty standard whitening Colgate or Arm & Hammer and spend about $2.25 for probably 7 oz of paste. Last night I broke the bank on some Crest 3D and spent a whopping $4.75, for 5 oz. of paste.Crest 3D claims that you will have visibly whiter toothies in just 14 days. We'll see. I took a picture this morning. I plan to take another picture on Day 7, and then finally on Day 14. Then we'll compare them all and see how it worked.
Confession though - I'm not the kind of girl that remembers to brush my teeth every. single. night. Embarrassing admission, but it's true. Oh well. But for the next 14 days - I'm gonna be very vigilant about it. I figure for this to work, I gotta follow the directions! Hope the extra $2.50 I spent last night pays off and I end up with some super pearly whites....
